Emma Watson Will No Longer Have David Yates As 'Your Voice In My Head'

Posted in : Gossips

(added 2 days ago)

Though recently pushed back from a spring to summer start, allowing Emma Watson the chance to flex some comedic muscle in Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's directorial debut "The End Of The World," it looks like "Your Voice In My Head" is going to need a new director.

Emma Watson Will No Longer Have David Yates As 'Your Voice In My Head'

Deadline reports that the drama, which was planned as a reunion between 'Harry Potter' duo Watson and director David Yates, will now be moving along without the helmer's talents. No, it's not anything acrimonious, rather, "a family health situation" has forced Yates to leave the project, because the writers and producers apparently weren't willing to push the start back any further. It's certainly a bit of a bummer for both star and helmer, who would've been striding out of 'Potter'-land together on something quite different, but it will be interesting to see who will get lined up instead.

However, Deadline wonders if WB will be as eager to move ahead with the drama without the (easily marketable) pairing of Yates/Watson. An adaptation of screenwriter Emma Forrest's memoir of the same name, the tale is a candid account about her battle with self-destructive behavior and how she was saved by a compassionate psychiatrist. Watson is set to take the lead, with Stanley Tucci lined up as the psychiatrist, though his participation seems to be a bit more up in the air at the moment. But it's tough dramatic material, which in these days of tentpoles and sequels at the major studios, becomes increasingly difficult to make. Yates won goodwill with WB by making them billions of dollars, allowing him the leverage to do something like this...but now that's he out, will that incentive to make the movie still be there? We'll see.

But, here's hoping the pic gets back on track, as it definitely sounds promising. It would mark another shift in gears for Watson who has been taking on a variety of gigs ranging from Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring" to the upcoming "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower." So let's see how this plays out...

Emma Watson’s New Favorite Pastime: Pole Dancing

Posted in : Gossips

(added 5 days ago)

Emma Watson’s New Favorite Pastime: Pole DancingHarry Potter alum Emma Watson, who plays a very bad girl in Sofia Coppola's upcoming film about notorious Hollywood burglars "The Bling Ring," has apparently let some of that femme fatality seep into her off-screen life.

The Sun is reporting that a source claims Watson has taken up pole dancing for sport at the advice of a Bling Ring co-star. "Like on all film sets, there's often so much time spent doing nothing," said the Sun's insider. "One of the other actresses on the set has been pole-dancing as a sport for a while and Emma decided to give it a go as well. She's amazed with the results because it has toned up her body so well."

Apparently she's found it to be quite enjoyable and "liberating."The tabloid helpfully reminds readers that Watson has been working to shed her Goody Two-Shoes image for some time now, even going so far as to frequent a "gentlemen's club" to celebrate last year's New York premiere of the final Harry Potter film.

Emma Watson’s Chelsea Retail Romp

Gearing up to spend some cash, Emma Watson was spotted out and about in the Chelsea district of London, England. The “Perks of Being a Wallflower” babe looked gorgeous as she strolled up the street, carrying her beloved Burberry studded Knight handbag.

In a recent interview, Emma shared that she has kind of a strange obsession- she really enjoys pharmacies in France. “I love French pharmacies. I’m obsessed – I could spend hours. They take a very medical, pharmaceutical approach to the face. I love the French – less is more look – there’s something very classy about it. It’s so sad when people hide themselves behind too much make-up.”

Emma Watson Steps Out In London

Emma Watson must be done filming her movie ‘The Bling Ring‘: the ‘Harry Potter’ star is back in her native London. She was heading out to do some shopping.I love Emma’s sense of style. She just seems so elegant, even when she’s casual. Although I have to admit, it looks odd to see that scarf right up against the neckline of her top (but I like both pieces). Are you a fan of Emma’s look?

Emma Watson Plays a Bad Girl in Her New Movie, Bling Ring

Emma Watson Plays a Bad Girl in Her New Movie, Bling RingNow that Harry Potter is officially finished, it looks like Emma Watson is keeping herself quite busy these days. Not only is the Brit starring in Perks of Being a Wallflower (which comes out this September), but she’s also landed herself a more, um, scandalous movie role about a troubled teen. And it’s even based on a true story.

Remember the Bling Ring back in 2010? It was when teen Alexis Neiers and a group of friends broke into celebrities’ houses — like Lindsay Lohan, Shia LaBeouf, Paris Hilton‘s and others — and stole thousands of dollars worth of stuff. Well, Emma is playing Nicki, a character based off of Alexis, in a movie appropriately called The Bling Ring.

As for Alexis herself? The infamous Hollywood figure (who even had her own short-lived reality show, Pretty Wild, in 2010) was not too thrilled with the movie’s interpretation of her, tweeting, “Emma Watson in character clothing an make up to look like me..close but I’ve never&would never wear that  ”

But, realizing that came out wrong, Alexis quickly corrected herself with another tweet, “No no no.It has been a blessing to work with Mrs Coppola&I’m still in shock that Emma is playing me I am sure she will be fantastic.Sillies.”Riiiight. Anyway, what do you think of Emma playing a bad girl? Do you remember reading about the Bling Ring in the news? Think it’ll make a good movie?

Emma Watson - Make-Up Artist Emma Watson

(added 10 days ago)

Emma Watson loves doing people's make-up. The 'Harry Potter' actress loves applying cosmetics to her friends and family and is always happy to pass her beauty tips on to them. She said: ''I love doing make-up. I did my mum's make-up for all her job interviews and whenever I go out, I do their make-up too. ''My speciality? I like quite a natural look, but I do everything really.

''People underestimate the power of an eyebrow. I recently got my friend into penciling hers in, which she thought was such a strange concept at first.'' However, Emma is aware that much beauty advice contradicts other snippets of wisdom so advises people not to listen to everything they are told. She added to Britain's Glamour magazine: ''Don't listen to everyone. It's kind of overwhelming, especially with your diet and skincare. You get so many different pieces of advice, you don't know what to listen to. ''I think people need to judge what works for them and trust their intuition.''

(added 12 days ago)

Emma Watson, Jason Segel to do cameo in End of the WorldHollywood star Emma Watson, Jason Segel, David Krumholtz are among the famous names who have been courted to appear in Seth Rogen's directorial debut The End of the World.

The Harry Potter star Watson is still in talks to play herself in the comedy movie which was formerly known as The Apocalypse.

As for Segel and Krumholtz, the two have already closed the deal to make appearance in the film, The Hollywood Reporter said. End of the World is inspired by a short called Jay and Seth vs the Apocalypse, which stars Rogen and Jay Baruchel, who are held up in an apartment while dealing with the end of the world.

The upcoming film, meanwhile, will expand its story and involve not only Rogen and Baruchel but also James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson. The actors are all playing themselves as they get stuck in Franco's Los Angeles apartment during the apocalypse.  Segel co-produces and co-writes the script for End of the World along with his longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg.  The movie has been slated for a June 14, 2013 release in the United States.

Emma Watson Will Witness 'The End of the World'

Posted in : Gossips

(added 15 days ago)

Emma Watson Will Witness 'The End of the World'Emma Watson survived the wrath of Voldemort. But will she survive the end of days?

The Hogwarts graduate will work her formidable magic as the latest guest of Seth Rogen's all-star apocalypse party, "The End of the World," according to Heat Vision. Watson has joined the increasingly impressive ensemble cast of the dark comedy, which also just recruited Jason Segel and David Krumholtz for the tale of, well, the end of the world, as seen through the eyes of several young actor-types playing meta-versions of themselves.

Emma Watson will be playing "Emma Watson" in the film, which also features Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Aziz Ansari and Jonah Hill as "themselves." "Emma Watson" will almost certainly have to tolerate some "Harry Potter" jokes in the film, perhaps along the lines of "Use your magic to save us from the Four Horsemen, Hermione!"

"The End of the World," which was previously known as "The Apocalypse" (might as well save that title for a future non-comedy), is an expansion of the short film, "Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse," which featured Rogen and Baruchel holed up in an apartment as everyone and everything dies. Seth Rogen and his longtime writing partner, Evan Goldberg, are directing the feature version, which will take place at a house party being thrown by Franco.

Emma Watson's post-"Harry Potter" career is really picking up steam. She's currently filming Sofia Coppola's latest drama, "The Bling Ring," and from there will segue into "Your Voice in My Head," which reunites her with her "Harry Potter" director, David Yates.

Meanwhile, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" recently screened at the Tribeca Film Festival and will hit theaters on Sept. 21. "The End of the World" will commence with production later this year with a look toward a release date of June 14, 2013, which will put the apocalypse head-to-head with Zack Snyder's Superman reboot, "Man of Steel."

The luxury two bedroom, two bathroom pad had previously been listed for$4 million (£2.5 million), but the price has been slashed to $3.3 million (£2 million), according to the New York Post.
