Emma Watson and the Deathly Hallows could have used assistance: Well, actually Emma Watson and the Deathly Hallows needed help but things have been taken care of now. Emma went on Harry Potter UK on Facebook to ask fans to help solve a dilemma. Apparently, when it came down to choosing the cover for the Blu-Ray and DVD UK release, the powers-that-be couldn’t decide between their two favorites.

Knowing the Harry Potter fan base is really huge, and realizing that it would, in fact, be the fans that purchase the Blu-Rays and DVD’s, they decided to have people stop by and vote on the UK cover. The polls closed Sunday night and the results have been tallied. You can see the winning image on the right. Yep, that’s one of the promo posters and it’s also the new look of the DVD and Blu-Ray packaging. The other choice was basically the same; only it showed a closer view of the three running through the woods.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One will out on DVD and Blu-Ray in the U.K. on April 11, 2011, while the U.S. will have to wait a few more days. It’ll be available in the States on April 15th.
