Wall Street Journal recently took a break from writing about business-related topics to make a list of stars that have the most influential hair of 2011. I think we can all guess who influenced the hair for most males, but for those who do not -it was Justin Bieber. He cut his shaggy bangs and hair in early 2011, causing some uproar with his fans. But in the end, his fans accepted it. For the female hair influence, they named Emma Watson. Last year she chopped her hair off into a pixie do and has kept it up since then. She cited it as a way to celebrate her independence from Harry Potter.
I am glad to see that they have picked two young stars to be influential hairstyles. However, I am not crazy about either of their styles. While they fit them both well, I doubt most people can pull these off or afford to keep them up. They both are high maintenance ‘do’s and most people cannot afford a touch up every week and it seems to be a little unpractical for those who are living on a budget.
How do you feel about this list? Do you like their hair do’s? They fit them, but I fail to see the craze. I would think that they would have a bit more styled looks picked, but I suppose we can always wait for that next year. Maybe that list will have more shapely hair listed.
